Brancaster Mussels are produced by a local Norfolk family who have been harvesting mussels for generations. Using a sustainable seabed culture in the harbours of Brancaster Bay in North Norfolk, the mussels are harvested in the morning and delivered direct to your door the same day ensuring that they are the freshest possible. The mussels are grown in a tidal environment rather than rope grown creating a thicker cleaner shell, the mussels are a vibrant orange or yellowy colour and are plump and full of flavour. I like to enjoy them in either a simple white wine sauce or Thai style with a touch of coconut, lime & chilli. Delicious on their own or served with crusty bread or fries to sup up the juice.
